La temporada de premios arrancó con los Critics Choice Awards 2026. Conocé los ganadores de la noche que se llevó a cabo en Santa Bárbara.
Este domingo se llevaron a cabo los Critics Choice Awards 2026. La ceremonia es una de las primeras grandes paradas de la temporada de premios y un termómetro clave rumbo a los Globos de Oro y los Oscar. Organizada por la Critics Choice Association, distingue lo mejor del cine y la televisión de 2025 según la votación de más de 600 críticos y periodistas especializados. La 31ª edición tuvo lugar en el Barker Hangar de Santa Mónica, California.
De la mano de Paul Thomas Anderson, One Battle After Another se adjudicó Mejor película, Mejor director y Mejor Guion Adaptado. Sinners se llevó Mejor guion original, Casting y elenco, Composición; como también el Mejor actor/actriz joven. Timothée Chalamet, con Marty Supreme, fue el Mejor actor. Hamnet con Jessie Buckley, logró la Mejor actriz.
Mientras que Frankenstein se llevó varios premios, destacando el Mejor actor de reparto para Jacob Elordi, y también como Mejor vestuario y maquillaje y peinado; y producción. F1, por su parte, ganó Mejor sonido y también edición. En las cintas, hubo grandes sorpresas. Una de ellas fue el premio para Amy Madigan por Weapons como Mejor actriz de reparto. También, la Mejor película animada fue para KPop Demon Hunters, que rompió récords en Netflix por su música.
The Pitt destacó en drama, mientras que The Studio se alzó con un par de galadornes en comedia. A su vez, Jean Smart, por Hacks, obtuvo su cuarto Critics de manera consecutiva. La miniserie Adolescence, de Netflix fue otra de las grandes ganadoras de la noche. Se llevó el premio a Mejor serie limitada, Mejor actor, Mejor actor y actriz de reparto.
