La temporada de premios arranca con los Critics Choice Awards 2026. Toda la información, en la siguiente nota.
Este domingo se llevaron a cabo los Critics Choice Awards 2026. La ceremonia será una de las primeras grandes paradas de la temporada de premios y un termómetro clave rumbo a los Globos de Oro y los Oscar. Organizada por la Critics Choice Association, distingue lo mejor del cine y la televisión de 2025 según la votación de más de 600 críticos y periodistas especializados. La 31ª edición tendrá lugar en el Barker Hangar de Santa Mónica, California podrá verse en vivo a través de TNT y HBO Max a partir de las 21 horas de Argentina. En España, estará disponible a través de Movistar+ a partir de la 1 AM del lunes 5.
En cuanto al mundo cinematográfico, “Pecadores” (Sinners), dirigida por Ryan Coogler y protagonizada por Michael B. Jordan, llega como la gran favorita tras liderar las nominaciones con 17 candidaturas, incluida mejor película, dirección y actor. Muy cerca aparece “Una batalla tras otra”, de Paul Thomas Anderson, con 14 menciones, mientras que “Hamnet” y “Frankenstein” se suman a la pelea con 11 nominaciones cada una.
En televisión, Netflix domina el tablero con 31 nominaciones totales, en el cual la miniserie “Adolescencia” encabeza el rubro con seis menciones, mientras que títulos como “The Diplomat”, “Severance” y “Hacks” vuelven a posicionarse entre los favoritos en drama y comedia.
Por cuarto año consecutivo, la cómica y actriz Chelsea Handler será la encargada de amenizar a la audiencia y los nominados. Junto a ella presentarán y darán premios actores como el consagrado Colman Domingo, cinco veces nominado al Critics Choice Award y a quien hemos visto en Sing Sing o Euphoria, la icónica Allison Janney, tres veces ganadora, y Hannah Einbinder, la actriz de Hacks que en la edición previa ganó el premio a ‘Mejor actriz de reparto en una comedia de televisión. Otros presentadores confirmados hasta el momento son Justin Hartley, de Tracker; Quinta Brunson, creadora y protagonista de la serie de comedia Abbott Elementary; el director y actor mexicano Diego Luna, a quien recientemente hemos visto en Andor; la leyenda de Hollywood Jeff Goldblum, el Mago de Oz en las dos partes de la adaptación cinematográfica de Wicked, y la aclamada directora Ava Duvernay, entre muchos otros.
